After being here for almost 10 years, it has grown so much. More things to do and place to eat. It is an amazing area bound with oppourtunities!

Lee's Summit will always be the place I call home. Lee's Summit was the place both my parents grew up, and found love, and created their family. It is the place I get homesick from. I love the traditions, like Downtown Days. I love the safety I feel, when walking the streets downtown. I love the community of people helping neighbors, or watching people see each other after many years.

I moved to Lees Summit around 6 years ago and I love it here. The town is great and I am close to a strip mall as well as my local grocery store. This town has everything that I need. I think some more stores would be great such as a sam's or costco.

I am a Caucasian White male, and I've lived all over the United States; and Lee's Summit, Missouri, is the. MOST racist place that I've EVER lived.

Great place to live! Close to everything, yet still far enough out. Friendly people, beautiful neighborhoods, low crime.

I love Lee’s Summit and I love how it is growing! In my opinion, there is always something to do and find what you enjoy doing within the town. I wish it was less policed and I also wish some road work would be done to improve driving conditions.

My family has lived there my whole life! We love the community and all the surrounding areas of Lees Summit. I would like to see another high school built. Because the area is getting crowded.

It's a quiet suburb. There's little crime here which is nice but sometimes it can lack diversity and entertainment for younger crowds. It's more of a family friendly town.

It's a pretty modern town. It's middle-class and fairly safe to be raised up in. There's many many different things to do here. From shopping malls, to painting pottery, to eating at a sushi joint. And plus, there's a bonus, I'm only twenty minutes away from the city, so that gives me twice as much things to do. I also met the people who shaped me as a person.

I love the city's location. It's conveniently close to the city, has great traffic flow, and an all-around great community. Always fun things popping up, like bands at a winery or new developments like K1 raceway.

I've lived here all my life! I know no different and may be biased, but I believe my experience within the Lee's Summit school district was excellent and enjoyable. I loved my teachers and enjoyed participating in extracurricular activities such as softball and choir. The downtown area is small and sweet with local boutiques like Elle&Em and Anchora Bella. There are a few coffee shops to note downtown: Hand in Glove, Frost Coffee and Tea, and Whistle Stop.

I think Lee's Summit is a very accepting and welcoming town. I lived here for the last 21 years with my parents, aside from the last year where I spent some time in an apartment in Columbia attending the University of Missouri. The city is very safe and has had very few issues in the time that I lived there, aside from more recent (past year or 2) car break ins. The neighbors I had grown up with were and are kind, comforting, and reliable people. Over my lifespan the city has also grown immensely, adding many new shopping areas, restaurants, businesses, and neighborhoods. With the growing number of residents, I believe that many of the schools could benefit from more space or building renovations, but aside from that they are quite accomodating.

Lees Summit has lots of diversity and has grown since I was a kid. There are always places to shop but not a whole lot of activities to do. Lees Summit is full of highways but also side roads are available for thos who dont like highways.

Lee's Summit is a sprawling community with all the necessities for modern urban living. The housing market in Lees Summit has vastly expanded over the past decade, and has lead to a vast increase in the number of people living there. A town of once 40,000 a mere two decades ago is now one of the largest cities in the state of Missouri with over 110,000 people. The community and school systems are one of the strongest in the state. The only thing I would like to see change in Lee's Summit is that there would be a little more to do.

Lee’s Summit is the place you go to live with your family and raise children. It’s a place where people learn to connect and build a community. It’s not a country town when everyone knows everyone but it’s a place where you can start over and become a better person.

Great little suburb of Kansas City. They have fun downtown events for the community and always expanding. Towards the end of the month they have arts & crafts to shop local artist, similar to KC one.

I've had a wonderful experience living in Lees Summit for the past two years. I grew up in a neighboring town but LS really has it all. Absolutely love the night life, how accessible everything is, and love the downtown days!
