Have I ever told you about how I used to live right down the street from Wrigley Field, and how it was the best time of my life? Yah, it was the best time of my LIFE!⚾

During Baseball season everything was about the Cubs, and if you were me OR with MEsince you couldn’t really be ME(what?),it was all about the Cubs and game-day food.Of course.

Honey Mustard Chicken Wings totally remind me of those days. There’s a bunch of awesome bars/pubs right around Wrigley Field, and chicken wings-all the things are always on the menu. Iregularlyordered thehoney mustardwings.

Now that I live in the ‘burbs and have little ones (and a big 37 year old)to take care OFand can’t really just take off to go to a Cubs game whenever I feel like it because there’s a house that needs to be cleaned, laundry piled up to the sky, dishes in the sink – oh my Gawwwwd, I feel overwhelmed just typing it all out!!! – I now have my trustworthy crock pot to take care of the wings while I do all the “wonderful” housework.(gag) Best part is that once the wings are done, they will stay warm in the crock pot until we’re ready to attack ’em.

What was I saying?

Oh! I went to a wedding last night and I think I drank too much. I’ll tell you about it another time.

I think what it all comes down to though is these wings. Theyremind me of Fall. And the Cubs! Have I told you about how I lived near Wrigley – right, right, I did. That wedding boozereally got to me.

Okay. I’ll just go and take a nap now.

Bye Bye!

ENJOY!
